Rolleston Tinting Ltd provides services including, but not limited to: vehicle window tinting; residential, commercial, and industrial window tinting; vinyl vehicle wraps; paint protection film (PPF) installation; and architectural films such as heat reduction, UV protection, and frosting. Services may vary and are described in individual quotes or invoices.
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work is confirmed once a deposit or written acceptance is received via online submission, email, or text. Pricing may change for additional work required due to unforeseen conditions, customer-requested changes, or supplier price changes. Where changes affect cost, we will notify you before proceeding.
A deposit may be required before work begins. Final payment is due on completion unless otherwise stated in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest or late fees for overdue accounts. All payments are due strictly according to the due date stated on the invoice unless otherwise arranged.
Services will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time. Weather conditions, material supply issues, vehicle condition, or access limitations may require rescheduling. Cancellations for custom-ordered materials (such as wraps, PPF, or film) may incur fees covering materials already purchased. If a confirmed booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time, a penalty fee may apply.
You agree to provide accurate information when booking services, ensure vehicles or properties are accessible and clean, remove personal items where required, and notify us of any issues that may affect installation.
We are not responsible for damage to items left in vehicles or on premises. Any window, window switch, or related component that is not functioning correctly must be reported prior to installation. We will not be held responsible for faults or malfunctions reported after installation.
Vehicle collection or drop-off is done at the customer’s own risk. For residential, commercial, or industrial installations, customers must inform us prior to installation if glass is special-purpose glass, including double-glazed or Low-E glass. We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed glass types or for voided manufacturer warranties resulting from film installation.
Manufacturer warranties apply to films, wraps, and PPF products. We guarantee workmanship for a reasonable period of time. Warranties may be void if materials are tampered with, improperly maintained, or cleaned with harsh chemicals.
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rolleston Tinting Ltd is not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial loss, including loss of income, downtime, or resale value. Liability for covered claims is limited to the cost of the service provided. This does not override rights under New Zealand consumer law.
Tint, wrap, and PPF materials may vary slightly in shade or clarity due to manufacturing processes. Samples will be shown prior to installation. By approving the selected material, the customer authorises installation. We are not liable for reasonable variations or dissatisfaction after installation.
Designs, logos, and custom artwork created by Rolleston Tinting Ltd remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to use supplied branding or materials.
When using our website, you agree not to use it for unlawful purposes, attempt to copy or disrupt the site, or misuse booking or contact systems. All website content remains the property of Rolleston Tinting Ltd.
We collect basic personal information required for quotes, bookings, invoicing, and warranties. Information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and is not sold to third parties.
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it promptly. New Zealand law applies, and disputes shall be handled in New Zealand.
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
